Harry and the Potters: Wizard Rock Concert Tonight at Central Library

Ever wondered how a story line in a book would sound if you made it into a song? Be at the Central Library tonight, Tuesday, July 5 at 7:00 PM to find out as Harry and the Potters present a free concert!

Discover how some of the themes from the popular Harry Potter books sound when they are turned into songs. Brothers Joe and Paul DeGeorge will be stopping at the Des Moines Public Library as part of their “Ride the Lightning” concert tour this summer.  This is their first national tour since 2007, which included an Iowa stop at the Johnston Public Library.  When asked about what they do, they say, “We sing songs about books!”  Some of their recent titles include: I am a Wizard, Rock the Library, Wizard Chess, Save Ginny Weasley, Keeping Secrets from Me, and (not gonna put on) the Monkey Suit.
